This is the 1954-55 season of the Quebec Junior Hockey League:

Regular Season[]

The league started this season with four teams - Quebec Frontenacs, Montreal Junior Canadiens, Trois Rivieres Flambeaux, and Jonquiere Marquis. The Montreal Junior Royals had folded.

The Marquis ran into troubles both on (poor record) and off (poor attendance) the ice. The other teams offered to sell them good players but the Marquis would have to put up a performance bond to finish the season. They decided instead to drop out of the league on November 10, 1954.
