This is the 1952-53 Ontario Hockey Association Junior C season:

Certain teams advanced to the 1953 Clarence Schmalz Cup playoffs.


Georgian Bay Group[]

The Owen Sound Greys were a Junior B team and advanced to the 1952-53 Sutherland Cup Championship playoffs.

Final
  • 3/4: Collingwood - Aurora 8:4

The Collingwood-Aurora final was cancelled after an incident that killed Bob Gillies, a Collingwood player. He was checked into the boards, striking his head on them. Gillies lapsed into a coma, and died in an ambulance on the way to a Toronto hospital. Instead all three Junior C teams advanced to the 1953 Clarence Schmalz Cup playoffs.

Junior B[]

Port Colborne & Brantford were Junior B teams and played off separately. The latter did not compete in the regular season. Brantford won and advanced to the 1952-53 Sutherland Cup Championship playoffs.
