BUT

This series was washed out because Charlottetown used Erwin Grosse who was ineligible. Glace Bay was awarded the series and actually played the first game of the final series against Halifax. Halifax won that game 6-4 at home on April 2.

After appeals and intervention by the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association it was decided to play a best of 3 series between Charlottetown and Glace Bay. The 5-3 win by Charlottetown in the last game would be counted because Erwin Grosse didn't play in it.

The Quebec Amateur Hockey Association had been suspended by the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association in March. This included the only other major amateur league in Canada - the Quebec Senior Hockey League (Major). Because Halifax had no one else to play, the Atlantics were awarded the Alexander Cup.
