This is the 1951-52 season of the Pacific Coast Hockey League. It was the eighth and last season of the league under this name. In the following season the name was changed to the Western Hockey League.
The Portland Eagles folded. The PCHL amalgamated with the Western Canada Major Hockey League and three teams from that league - Saskatoon Quakers, Calgary Stampeders, and the Edmonton Flyers - joined the PCHL.
