Flin Flon Bombers beat Humboldt Indians 3 wins to none, 1 tie.
In the first game, Flin Flon won 7-5 at the end of three overtime periods. Humboldt protested, saying that the rules were that only one overtime period would be played and, if there was no winner, a tie would be declared. The score was 5-5 at the end of the first overtime. The league, however, insisted that in the playoffs the rule was that the game would continue until a winner emerged at the end of an overtime period.
THe Saskatchewan Amateur Hockey Association changed the result to a 5-5 tie pending a full hearing. This hearing was cancelled after Flin Flon won the next three games making the matter moot.
