This is the 1948-49 Manitoba-Thunder Bay League season:
Background[]
This league was comprised of three teams:
The Nationals were the only Senior A team in Manitoba.
Kenora and Port Arthur were the only senior teams in Thunder Bay. There was no team in Fort William because there was no arena in the city.
The three teams got together for some games. There were no league playoffs. After the season finished, the Nationals entered the 1948-49 Manitoba Senior Playoffs. The Thistles and Bearcats went on to the 1948-49 Thunder Bay Senior Playoffs.
This was the only season of this league.
