The 1928–29 Montreal Maroons season was the 5th season of the Maroons franchise in the National Hockey League (NHL). The Maroons finished last in the Canadian Division and did not qualify for the playoffs.

Dave Trottier was signed after winning gold at the 1928 Olympics.
