At this point the Alberta Amateur Hockey Association ruled on a protest by Edmonton against Taber. It determined that Taber had several ineligible players.
Taber's win over Edmonton was reversed and the series against Calgary was stopped. Calgary was ordered to play Edmonton. They refused and disbanded their team. Edmonton was awarded the provincial title.
Edmonton Eskimos advanced to the 1912-13 Allan Cup.
