The 100 Mile House Bears were a men's senior team that played in the Central Interior Hockey League until the 2007-08 season.
The team was formed in 2000. The team played in the CIHL for the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons advancing to the Coy Cup both seasons The team would withdraw from the CIHL for the 2002-03 season and qualify for the Coy Cup again by beating a team from Kamloops two games to one to qualify. They would finish fourth in the 2003 tournament. The team would play as an independent for the 2003-04 season before returning to the CIHL for the 2004-05 season.[1]
The team had issued a press release on September 16, 2008 stating that they would be playing as an independent team after withdrawing from the league citing travel time and cost as the major reason for leaving the league. General manager and head coach Greg Aiken was going to try to form a league made up of teams south of the CIHL's footpring specifically mentioning Lillooet, Williams Lake, Clearwater, Rossland as possibilites. The league would not come to fruition however.[2]
